At AGRITECHNICA 2025, STEYR unveiled its new Cervus CVT tractor series, comprised of the 6360 Cervus CVT (360 hp), 6390 Cervus CVT (390 hp) and 6440 Cervus CVT (435 hp).
The machines are built on a new flexible platform from the factory in St. Valentin, Austria, suited both for heavy tillage with full ballast and high-capacity transport or front/rear implement operations without ballast.
Key features include an independent front-axle suspension combined with a semi-active cab suspension system for improved operator comfort, a new continuously variable transmission capable of speeds up to 60 km/h, and the brand’s first integrated central tyre-pressure management system.
This launch signals STEYR’s strategic move into the high-power, multi-task tractor segment — offering large farms and contractors a premium platform that blends strength, flexibility and modern drive technology. With these models, STEYR enters the competitive 350-to-440 hp class with a truly full-featured contender.
