Argentine implement manufacturer Febra has expanded its soil-conditioning harrow range with the launch of the new OLI 7000, the largest machine of its type produced by the company to date. With a 7-metre working width, the new flagship has been developed for higher-capacity farming operations and is designed to work with tractors of around 280 hp. A reinforced frame is intended to maintain consistent working behaviour across the full width, allowing operators to cover more hectares per pass while reducing the number of field movements required.
The OLI 7000 retains the multi-stage architecture already associated with Febra’s conditioner concept. At the front, two rows of discs work the hardened surface layer and cut crop residues, while the rear section uses a central roller plus two folding wing rollers to level and reconsolidate the soil. The disc gangs and rear roller wings can be raised for transport. Beyond seedbed preparation and residue management, Febra positions the machine for mechanical weed control, reducing reliance on herbicide applications in appropriate conditions.
