At Agritechnica 2025, Valtra will present a concept dubbed “Talking Tractor” integrated into its Valtra Coach app. This AI-based assistant is designed to let farmers interact with their tractor using voice or text in multiple languages (English, German, French, Finnish). The system is trained using operator manuals, precision farming guides, telemetry data, and historical job logs.
Key functionalities include step-by-step checklists for complex tasks, visual aids and illustrations, and real-time telemetry visualizations such as CO₂ emissions, idle time, and performance metrics. The interface is optimized for mobile devices and tablets, and it is fully compatible with Valtra Connect, allowing integration with the tractor’s telematics.
Valtra invites visitors to its stand (Q305 in Hall 20) to test the concept. While no pricing or release timeline has been confirmed, the company intends to gather user feedback during the fair to guide further development. The “Talking Tractor” concept has also been shortlisted for the DLG-Agrifuture Concept and Future Prize for Agricultural Technology, highlighting its potential in the future of farm machinery.
