French manufacturer Agrisem has expanded its soil cultivation portfolio with the launch of the Smartplow Combi, a new mounted version of its Smartplow loosener engineered to work in combination with a wide range of rear-mounted implements. Available in 4.5 m, 5 m and 6 m folding configurations, the machine can be equipped with different tine configurations for vertical soil fissuring, deep lifting or intensive mixing, allowing farmers to adapt the implement to different agronomic objectives and soil conditions. The new model extends Agrisem’s conservation farming philosophy by integrating deep soil loosening with additional field operations in a single working pass.
A key feature of the Smartplow Combi is its 9-tonne rear linkage capacity and integrated PTO driveline, enabling the machine to carry equipment such as rotary harrows, rotary tillers or even a trailed seed drill. The system can also be fitted with localised fertiliser incorporation units, allowing simultaneous soil loosening and nutrient placement. Optional hydraulically adjustable depth-control wheels further improve working depth consistency when operating either as a standalone loosener or as part of a combined cultivation system. By reducing the number of field passes required for seedbed preparation, Agrisem is targeting lower fuel consumption, reduced soil compaction and higher operational efficiency.
